Longcliffe is one of the UK's leading producers of high quality calcium carbonate extracting, processing and delivering over 4000 tonnes of limestone products every working day.
The company's operations are centred on Longcliffe's Brassington Moor quarry which lies between Ashbourne and Bakewell in Derbyshire, within the purest limestone deposit in Britain, and one of the largest. Longcliffe offers an unusually broad range of limestone products - all from a deposit which is typically 99.5% pure calcium carbonate.
Founded in 1927 the company is still family owned and pursues its business with a strong, ongoing commitment to the local environment and to the local economy.
